I believe that Music is a Universal Language everyone understands. It can Preach, Convince and inspire, among other beautiful attributes. The Lyrical content of a Song is capable of creating a positive Change... "World Peace" could be dependent on Music.

ABOUT SONGWRITING

If you truly know your onions and you are able to write quality songs that have the potential of becoming a hit in the nearest future, it could elevate you in terms of status, financial standing, endorsements and popularity, among other benefits.  Secondly, other people including artistes and labels get to patronize you and require your services because of the quality you bring to the table and the portfolio you have built for yourself in the course of your career...

God speaks to us through the various situations that we go through in life. Are you lonely, alone and distressed? Are you in pains? Are you having problems and you think there's no solution? Has everyone deserted you and you feel the weight upon you? All I can say to you is BREATH! No matter how hot or how hard it is... Just BREATH!

Stephanie's Poll: Language vs Music

For me, i'd choose music over language. Music is universal. Music itself is a language on its own and the language spoken by Music is understood by everyone. You find out that we all react to the sound of Music consciously or unconsciously whenever we hear it being played. And whether or not they contain lyrics or just instrumentals, we still react to it on an instinctive level.

Hence, as a Songstress and a Songpreneur,  I still speak every language with Music because this is one beautiful language that everyone can relate with...#Always, no matter your country, color, tribe, culture or whatever language you speak... #Works for me all the time...

CATCHING THEM YOUNG

Train up a child the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Deuteronomy 22 verse 6).

If we don’t teach our children to follow Christ, the world will teach them not to. Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate. Teaching kids to count is fine, but teaching them what counts is best…  ‘The children you gave birth to, whom you also dedicated in the house of God will be more useful to you if you teach them the way of the Lord from childhood. A good way to achieve this is through family meetings, a gathering of all family members including the children from time to time, during which you should be able to impart the knowledge of God into them. It will help them know what is right to do as well as what is wrong so they can abstain from it. It will also prevent them from bringing curses upon your family’.

This was the chief message delivered by the Great man of God, His Grace, The Most Rev. Professor Daddy Hezekiah, MFR, JP, Odum Ebo Igbo (Lion Of The Tribe Of Igbo), Founder and Leader of Living Christ Mission, Inc. during the church service held on Sunday 22nd May, 2016. Some of the Major points are highlighted below:

-          In Deuteronomy 6, we are taught to Love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our strength …‘And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates’.

-          So do not withhold to discipline from a child. If you beat him with a rod, he will not die. If you beat him with a rod you will save his life from Sheol (Hell). (Proverbs 23:13-14). But this does not mean you should be wicked to that child. Cane him/her according to his age.

-          Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him. (Proverbs 22:15).

-          Jeremiah 22 vs 30,19 talks about a man Named Coniah, a King who built his house by unrighteousness and his upper rooms by injustice. God initially wore this king as a signet ring on His right hand. But when God had prospered him, blessing him and making him great in life, he forgot all about God and relied on his riches, wealth, houses, children and possessions. He provoked God to anger and even his mother was punished along with him… Thus says the Lord: ‘write this man down as childless, a man who shall not succeed in his days; for none of his offspring shall succeed in sitting on the throne of David and ruling again in Judah. With the burial of an ass he shall be buried, dragged and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem’.

LESSON: Do not provoke God because of your children, or even your riches and wealth, honors and achievements in life or any height you have attained. Honor God so that you will enjoy His blessings in life. (Please read the entire passage for more reference)

Other points mentioned by the Man of God includes the following:
If you are an adult who has been dedicated before God’s Holy Altar, you must be consistent in going to church. Don’t ever turn away your ear from hearing or listening to the word of God because even then, your prayers will become an abomination before God (Proverbs 28 vs 9). Look unto God and don’t be wise in your own eyes. A rich man is wise in his own eyes but a poor man who has understanding will find him out (Proverbs 28 vs 11).
-

Christians should go back to God. These days, people no longer go to church but usually engage themselves in all sorts of activities which are not meant for the Sabbath day. This is the reason why there is so much suffering in the country, yet we keep asking why things are getting worse. Go back to the Holy Bible, trace and observe from the writings. You will find that whenever the Israelites sinned against God, He always sends them an evil leader in order to teach them a lesson. The same thing is happening to Nigeria today. As a Christian, you should endeavor to cling to God so that no matter what happens, you will be sure of where your soul is going to.
The Man of God, His Grace, Prophet Daddy Hezekiah, MFR, prayed for the children of God and rededicated them to the Most High God, encouraging and teaching on the things we need to do in order for the prayers to manifest; … ‘I have every right to pray for you, but it is God who has the power to make It manifest. When you go to the Hospital as a result of an ailment, the Doctors will prescribe some medication for you and also advice on the things you should avoid eating, drinking or doing. Likewise, the same applies to being dedicated in the presence of God. You as a Christian, will need to play your part by observing and obeying the words which God commands you so that it may go well with you and your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God(Deuteronomy 12 vs 28).

Wherever you go or wherever you find yourself in life, do not go after other gods because if you choose to do so, God will do to you, the same thing He did, the people which He dispossessed to put you there. (You should bear in mind that there are people who were dispossessed in order for you to be put in that position just like the people of Israel who were given the promised land. For The Lord Your God is a jealous God among you (Deuteronomy 6 vs 16).

LESSON: When God has blessed you, remember to do all you can to please Him and do His perfect Will. If you want to succeed in life, obey the Word of God and His commandments. All that is required of us is to be on good terms with God.

In conclusion, the righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite. Whether you are rich or not, you are satisfied with what you have. However, it is important for you to go to church because it will make you wise. So mind the kind of Church you attend and the kind of friends you follow; learn from the wise.

Bless:
Sharon Gege Samuel
